GRADE SUPPRESSION
Grade Suppression
Repeating Failed Courses; Grade Replacement for Previously Failed Courses “…students are permitted to repeat a course for credit only when they have failed the course. Beginning with students first entering the 9th grade in the 2015-2016 school year, upon successful completion of repeated course that the student previously failed, the new course grade shall replace the previous grade of F awarded for the course. Grade suppression simply means they will take the course in its entirety during the school year. The new grade will show on their transcript and the F will be suppressed and not shown. If you have questions please contact your child's school counselor.
