World Affairs Scholars Program
Are you interested in studying abroad!? Have you ever wondered if there was funding for you to do so? If so, look no further! The World Affairs Council of Charlotte has a scholarship grant that provides educators up to $2,500 to travel abroad. There are so many programs available for Student Services staff and we hope that some of you will consider applying. The past two years, our very own, JoEllen Malveaux (school psychologist) and Brittany Glover (school counselor) have received grants from the World Affairs Council of Charlotte and have traveled to Quito, Ecuador. NACAC Charlotte Performing and Visual Arts Fair
Are you a high school student who may want to study the arts in college? Whether you are a dancer, actor/actress, painter, musician, sculptor, graphic artist, or filmmaker, consider attending the Charlotte Performing and Visual Arts Fair to be held on Tuesday, October 30 from 7-9 PM at The Park Expo and Conference Center (800 Briar Creek Road, next door to Bojangles Arena on Independence Blvd.) This FREE event will feature over 50 colleges and universities, from art schools to large state universities to liberal arts colleges, and is open to ALL interested students and families.
